does that make a book?

Quentin Tarantino presents Hell Ride. I present $8.75.

I've always been a sucker for haiku. Haikus? Haiku.

If you're looking for me, I'm somewhere ending it all. ScarJo and Ryan Reynolds? Say it isn't so.

I'll seek solace in the Reeler's interview with Michel Gondry.

Idiot savant Oliver Stone's next project stars Josh Brolin as Dubya. It's called Bush. Seriously.

Hey, the Oscar nominations don't completely suck. I mean, they mostly suck.

Again, I have no problem saying that the teaser trailer for Star Trek XI got me jazzed.

Robert Plant called Radiohead crap ... and then put Captain Beefheart on the jukebox. Your call.

Sure, he may not have made a good movie since Deconstructing Harry or a great movie since Bullets over Broadway, but that doesn't mean that Woody Allen isn't an interesting guy. According to IFC's new interview, he's a PT Anderson fan, but he didn't even like his own Manhattan.

PS I saw The Diving Bell and the Butterfly and There Will Be Blood over the long weekend. Both are A+wesome.

I don't know why I've never found myself in especially hot water for my absolute lack of interest in both Radiohead and Wilco (save Being There), but eh...

I mean, yeah, Radiohead are perhaps more subtle than Led Zeppelin ever were (at least 98 percent of the time; I think LZ's acoustic stuff is mostly fantastic). And even though I don't particularly like them, I've never called Radiohead "crap," even when drinking. I have, however, debated the relative worth of Led Zeppelin and their various albums with my father and a Jimmy Page-worshipping bartender while drinking.

I'd rather read anything Lester Bangs had to say about Beefheart (or Langdon Winner's essay on Trout Mask Replica in Stranded) than actually listen to his music.

Have you heard Plant's new album with Alison Krauss?

And did you see that Lil Wayne was arrested?

I mean, Plant's quotes were posted in the NME -- essentially the TMZ of the rock journalism world. So take them with a heaping of salt.

I have heard "Please Read the Letter" from the RP/AK album. I liked it, but not enough to do any follow-up.

I already bought a "Free Weezy" t-shirt.
